I have worked in a variety of mental health settings treating various diagnoses and populations, which has consistently taught me the importance of individualized treatment. I firmly believe that every person is unique, with their own experiences, strengths, and challenges. I am committed to meeting you where you are and creating a treatment plan that is specifically tailored to YOU. You are the expert of your own life, and I am happy to work as a team in finding the path that best supports your needs and helps you achieve meaningful, lasting change.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #87954) in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor (NCC #1628351).
Individual counseling is designed to help you overcome personal challenges and achieve your goals. Therapy can provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your innermost thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behavior, and develop strategies for positive change.
Couples counseling can help you and your partner improve communication, resolve recurrent conflicts, and build a stronger bond. Whether you are facing challenges related to intimacy, trust, or other stubborn issues, therapy can help you work through them, practice forgiveness, reconnect, and learn the tools necessary for long-term relationship satisfaction.
Family therapy is designed to help families overcome challenges often related to issues with communication, conflict, and interpersonal boundaries. Therapy can help family members self-reflect, practice personal accountability, improve communication/conflict-resolution skills, and develop a stronger sense of cohesion and connection.
Child/adolescent therapy is designed to treat a range of challenges (including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma history, etc) in a way that is developmentally appropriate for the age group. Evidence-based techniques are utilized to help children and teens develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and achieve greater personal, social, and academic success.
Evidence-based therapeutic approaches are utilized in accordance with individual symptoms and goals. Trauma-informed and person-centered treatment can be expected in all sessions.
